Well, this was one of the most interesting conversations I got to have at an event about to be hosted by a woman I love. She is an amazing woman and I am grateful she agreed to be on the same platform with me and share her perspective in an event that is more than just a dinner (but a dinner nonetheless).
I’m not going to say anything about my relationship status or my partner as I’m not planning to be the person who posts her stories, but I did want to say what a privilege it is to have a platform as a guest on your own show just for that. We had a blast.
I had to think about it a little bit. I had no idea what my partner was going to think about it because I had nothing to do but make her happy. She is still there and she’s been doing this for a long time. She’s been in the spotlight for a long time now.
I love you too. But I had no idea how to handle it. I mean, I didnt even know we were talking until she told me that we were talking and then she made me feel like I can be myself. The fact that Ive had a public face for a long time and Im still not comfortable with it, but I guess I can make that easier.
