While you may already know this, the darker the skin, the more we are often judged on it. This is especially true for those that have dark skin. But the truth is, the darker your skin, the more you are likely to look good, and the more confident you are going to be.

As a young kid growing up in the ’90s, I always wore a t-shirt that said I was a light-skinned Indian, and it was true. But after I took up yoga, I started to notice that I wasn’t the same as I had been in the past. The reason being was that I was actually the color that the yoga teacher had told me I was supposed to wear.

The truth is, just because you look a certain way does not make you a light-skinned Indian. Dark skin is the most common skin type, and the biggest contributing factor to it. But there are tons of other factors that make dark skin a lot more common than you might think. One of the most common is genetic factors. Not only are people of African heritage more likely to have darker skin than whites, they are also more likely to have darker skin than people of Asian heritage.

I can’t say this has anything to do with melanin, however. I’ve heard it referred to as “dark skin pigmentation,” which is a little more accurate (or less). One of the biggest contributors to skin color is the vitamin A level in the skin. Vitamin A is often referred to as the “yellow pigment.” When you have a higher vitamin A level, your skin is dark and your skin color changes. So, there you have it.

I’ve been told that even dark skin people are afraid of melanoma, but I’ve never bothered to verify this because I’ve never actually seen a melanoma. I’m not saying dark skin people are less predisposed to cancer, but I don’t know of any research that suggests dark skin people are more predisposed to cancer than people with lighter skin.

It is widely rumored to be true that dark skin is associated with higher melanoma risk. But no research that I know of supports this.

So, Ive read that dark skin people are more predisposed to melanoma. But Ive also read that dark skin people are less predisposed to that cancer than lighter skin people. So, if dark skin people are more predisposed to melanoma, then dark skin people are less predisposed to melanoma.

So, dark skin people are more predisposed to melanoma than lighter skin people. But lighter skin people are more predisposed to cancer. So, if lighter skin people are less predisposed to cancer, then lighter skin people are more predisposed to cancer. That’s some pretty powerful stuff.

So, if dark skin people are less predisposed to cancer, and lighter skin people are less predisposed to melanoma, then dark skin people are more predisposed to cancer, and lighter skin people are less predisposed to melanoma. Thats some pretty powerful stuff.

I thought it was pretty important to include this, because it is something that I think is fairly obvious but that people often don’t think about, and that’s the case with some melanoma, and some cancers. Dark skin people are actually less predisposed to melanoma than lighter skin people are.
