The fish tacos featured in Laughlin were actually a part of a larger project. Laughlin is a new restaurant in Austin, Texas and the food it serves is quite interesting. The menu is divided into three sections: a “Seafood” section, an “Italian” section, and an “American” section. The Seafood section features seafood dishes that are either fried or cooked in a tomato sauce, and the rest of the menu is filled with dishes that are grilled.
The best part is that they were just as fresh as they were in the store and I was not only able to eat them there, but I got to share a few of them with a friend of mine. The Italian section is a bit of a disappointment. The dish was grilled for a short time with olive oil and garlic, and I couldn’t taste anything. The American section was alright. It had a few fish dishes and a few pasta dishes, but I didn’t love it.
Its not that I hate Italian food or that I don’t like the Italian section, it’s that I just havent found a dish that I liked eating. I think the reason I hate seafood is because I am a seafood freak. And I have a hard time eating certain kinds of fish. The way that I describe my love of seafood is the way I describe my love of cheesecake.
