I learned this when I finished my barquisimo (bar in the US and the Italian word for ‘breakfast’). I needed to cook a meal on my own before I could get food poisoning and get my shit together. I used my trusty recipe book to prep it. I also used my phone to call my favorite restaurant. I don’t know why people don’t do this more, but I’m gonna try it anyway.

The name of this recipe is Barquisimo, which translates to “little barmitza” in Italian. This is a kind of pasta with a spicy sauce that is usually made from anchovies, olive oil, black pepper, and oregano. In the US, it’s called barbecino, but because it’s still a pasta, you can use it for a lot more things.
