This week I decided to have a little bit of fun with it. My first and third film selections were both from director John Kroger (The Big Lebowski, The Hangover Part III).
The Big Lebowski is one of those movies that I always think about when I watch it. It’s probably the first movie that I watched that I really thought was awesome and made me happy. I’m pretty sure I was laughing my ass off (which can happen) at the time, so if you’re a fan of the movie and you’re looking for some laughs, you’ll probably enjoy this selection.
From my perspective, The Hangover Part III is just as funny as the first two films, but it has some darker elements. It also doesn’t have the same level of hilarity from the previous two films. The Big Lebowski is the first film that I can recall that I’ve enjoyed since I saw The Hangover Part II, and the two films share a great deal in common. I think The Hangover Part III is the funniest movie I’ve seen since The Office.
There are a lot of things that I enjoy in The Hangover, but I also think it’s not as funny as the first two films. I think that’s because it’s more based around a bunch of people having a good time in a group setting with a bunch of friends. The Hangover Part III is more focused on the idea of drinking and partying, rather than simply being a bunch of people having a good time.
The Hangover Part III is a bit of a departure for the two films. I think because of the way it was written, it felt like it was a prequel to the first two films. The second film was much more about the guys who were involved in the first two. I think the idea behind the “third” film is to continue the story which started with the first two.
The Hangover Part III follows two guys who are now divorced and trying to get back together, which gives us a good excuse to play with that whole drinking game. The Hangover Part 2 had more of a focus on the drinking, which left a little bit to do with the other characters, and the reason I think it is the best hangover movie. The Hangover 2 was closer to the first film, but in a good way.
I’m going to go ahead and say this isn’t a “best” film for me. It’s not a bad movie, it’s just a really good movie. I’m really happy that we’re getting into the great story of the Hangover films. I think it’s a great story, and I think we’re going to have a great time playing with all of this crazy shit.
