In Cuba, a lot of people are protesting the government because they are upset that their rights have been taken away. The Cuban National Assembly has recently voted to allow the people to use plastic bags for the first time in decades. Cubans have become very aware of the damage that plastic bags can cause to the environment, as well as to their health. They have also become aware that the plastic bags are not just being used for illegal activities, but are being used to store food as well.
