It is a funny thing to say “cry of recognition,” but I was actually just crying. I was really happy to read the comment below that it was about me. I’m so glad that I didn’t hear it from someone else. Because, honestly, it still makes me pretty jealous.
I had this idea in my head of writing a book about what I’m going through, and it was going to be a book about how I felt when I was diagnosed with cancer. I was going to talk about my fear, my anxiety, the uncertainty and helplessness. I was going to tell the story of what I was thinking at the time. It was going to be about how I lived with uncertainty, and how I overcame it.
In the end though, the book was never written, but my cancer did eventually come, and with it came a few other things that I was going to write about.
I remember writing the book, and I remember how I was going to live with the cancer, and I remember that I would write about each of the things I was going to write about. That it was just too much, and I couldn’t write about all of them. I started to write the book, and I started to write about my fears, and I started to write about the uncertainty of it all, and I just couldn’t get it done.
The book is basically a memoir, written and edited by a writer of fiction. There are no chapters, and the chapters are all linked to each other and then linked all the way back to the first chapter in the book, so you can go back and read the most recent chapters as they were written in advance of the actual book. This was not a coincidence. It was just the way that the book was written.
The book is a memoir of how I got into writing, and it’s filled with the author’s own anxieties and fears about writing and publishing her very first book. And I’d also like to say it’s a really good book.
We’ve heard all of the complaints. Some of them are valid. Some are really stupid. But really, its a good read. The chapters are all linked to each other, so you can go back and read the chapters as they were written in advance of the actual book. This was not a coincidence. It was just the way that the book was written.
That’s not to say that the book is bad. In fact, it’s pretty damn good. The structure is solid. Its well-paced and the characters are likable. If you’re not a fan of the “novels” coming out in the form of graphic novels it might not be for you. But if you’re into this kind of thing, Id say you’ll love it.
I’m not sure if I would classify it as a graphic novel or something else. In any case, the book is definitely a work of fiction so its not a good thing to read in a library.
I can see why some people may have a problem with the book. The structure of the book seems a little too linear. It is a bit of a mess, too, and the characters are all somewhat unreliable and not really all of them are likable. If you are a fan of graphic novels, definitely read it. But if you have a problem with the book being too linear, then I would recommend reading it elsewhere.
