I have been a part of a bachelorette party, a wedding shower, graduation, and just about every other event that involves a couple that has a long-term relationship. I have always thought it was weird to have to wash your hands after a shower, but now I understand my reasoning. Bachelorettes don’t just shower themselves in the bathroom they shower in the tub.

If the shower becomes the bathtub, then we’re not washing ourselves. The only thing I’ve found that can stand in the way of this is the fact that the bathroom and shower are in the same room and they are probably both occupied. If I wasn’t married I would have some sort of elaborate “foul-smelling” trap setup to keep me from entering the bathroom during my shower.

There’s also another reason why I think this is going on. To make a point, I’ll just start with my own laundry. I like to wash my clothes in the bathtub while I’m doing something else. I have to set the timer on the water heater while I’m standing in the tub, and the timer should reset when I’m done. I try to let my clothes dry in the bathtub longer than 30 minutes, but that’s only to stop them from getting damp.
