In the past four days, I had two different experiences with petrol prices. First, I went to a petrol station in Indore, which is a city I haven’t been to in many years. I went with my husband and friend and we filled up our car while we waited for the attendant to come out with a pump. He was a nice guy and we had a pleasant but not extraordinary experience.
The second experience was when we went to the petrol pump at our house in Indore. The attendant was a really nice guy who gave us a pump for Rs. 7. We pumped it and as soon as we opened the hood, it started leaking. We quickly removed the plug and pulled it out. The pump motor was completely destroyed and it leaked petrol.
To be honest, I’m not the best at filling up, and I’ve been told that indore petrol is a terrible brand. It’s not an oil, it’s not petrol, it’s diesel. I would suggest trying indore petrol in a super-dry location, as it dries up quickly. You can always just refill it later…
Im sorry but indore petrol tastes like diesel. And its too expensive for my liking.

When I moved to indore to teach English as a Foreign Language, I was amazed at the number of electricity poles everywhere.
It is a city where the government is very pro-petrol. There is an electric grid. Its a city where many people live in the city. And even though indore is a city that makes its own electricity, it is still a city of some size. Indore is a city that is not a petrol city, but it is a city that makes its own electricity.
