flight times. When I say flight time what I mean is how long it takes me to get from Chicago, Illinois to my hometown of AUS. I had to do this trip alone in 2014 and 2015. I had to put in a few extra days to allow for the fact that I had to drive from the Midwest to the South. To be honest I am surprised it took me this long. I was even more surprised to see how much I missed the Midwest that is Illinois.
You can fly pretty much anywhere in the US by going through Chicago. However, it takes a little bit of getting used to. It’s not that you have to spend a lot of time driving so much as you have to take your eyes off of the road for a second and let the traffic flow by you. It sucks because I don’t think I would be able to do this trip again, but I’ll be back in a year or so.
If you’re willing to put up with a bit of traffic, it’s probably not a bad trip either. I can definitely see myself flying from Chicago to Los Angeles and back. I think it’s an awesome trip because you get to see all of the sights in a single day (i.e. not two), and you get to be in the middle of the action while you’re on holiday.
I think I would have to give up on this trip because I don’t think I could deal with it. I have so much to catch up on that I don’t know where to start.
Its true, you dont get to see as much as you would like to, but it’s still a fun thing to do.
I would love to see flight times on the flight from Chicago to Los Angeles. Its a completely different experience when you go from a city to another city. The only thing that would make me want to go this trip more is if I could see the scenery in both cities. I’d probably want to go the next day but I’m working so hard to get to that point that I don’t know when I’ll be able to make it.
